SSG Harshman and Spc. Mitchell prepare steaks on our barbecue grill one afternoon after a mission. Generally we only returned to the Palace Area where our Civil Affairs HQ was in order to attend meetings. During the meetings (that I was always in), my guys would always do some "scrounging." Steaks from the battalion supply were always the primary target. The battalion supply soldiers would usually make sure they saved us some of the "good stuff" when they would get it. Little boxes of cereal were also a big hit. We all have a special appreciation for Tony the Tiger. ( Sorry Keith, Cpt T's little dig.)
