Rhett Baird, of the Fayetteville Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, speak during a candelight vigil Thursday evening on the steps of the Washington County Courthouse. The vigil, sponsored by the Fayetteville chapter of Parents Families and Friends of Gays and Lesbians (PFLAG), was held in honor of the families and victims of hate crimes and for the recent murder of University of Wyoming student Matthew Sheppard.
