The KKK and National Socialist's met for a rally at the North Carolina State Capitol building on February 21, 2004. The event brought hundreds of protestors with only a dozen or so ralliers. The sidewalks around the Capitol were crowded with angry protestors that were held back by policeman, state troopers, the bomb squad, in addition to snipers on the rooftops. The violence was held to a minimum with the exception of a smoke bomb that was thrown into a crowd of protestors and a few small fights that broke out between the law enforcement officers and a group of protestors.
